The patchwork blanket is now complete, with 1,138 labels sewn on to represent the number of people who died in the Rana Plaza complex, Bangladesh in April 2013.
The title of the piece #whomademyclothes is from the organisation Fashion Revolution who are calling for greater transparency, sustainability and ethics in the fashion industry.
The blanket will be hung at the MA Fine Art end of year show at Brighton University, Grand Parade July 8th – July 15th.
It will also be on show at Fugitive Ink open house throughout May, listings published 11th April. http://aoh.org.uk
