As the MA studies continue it is often a welcome relief to be drawing at the studio. I recently ran a monoprinting session with a life model, a simple technique of inking a plate, placing paper on top, drawing and lifting off the paper. It tends to suit shorter poses best as overworking the drawing can lead to too much ink on the paper. I was in one of those rare situations where I felt completely relaxed and unconcerned about the results of my drawings. The model gave us one dynamic pose after another, working hard to give us interesting shapes and gestures to draw:
