There is just over a week until the end of term and on December 13th, I must present some work to my fellow students and tutors.
I began this new work by making rust prints from found abandoned objects in the streets:

This led to working with the objects themselves:

![Division](http://shelleymorrow.files.wordpress.com/2016/12/p1000287-copy.jpg?w=150&h=113)
These are discarded rusted objects, I found on my walks from A to B. The first set are part bound in silk thread and the second have been partly gold leafed.
I revisited some other rust prints I had made, documenting the identities of sounds as I walked. The words are written in ink that I made from rusted objects.

I am planning to present these prints on the floor, maybe people will walk on them by mistake, I hope that they do. Maybe they will pick them up and look at them or they may try and avoid touching them altogether, I have yet to see.
The underlying main theme of these pieces are about abandonment and fear of living on the street.
Even though these are works in progress, I have titles for all the pieces I am showing and I have plans to develop them in the New Year.
Meanwhile, at Draw, I continue to be fascinated by blind contour drawing, finding pleasure in the process and the interesting results it can reveal:

And finally, the completed embroidery of a blind contour drawing on vintage fabric:
