I did these soon after my life drawing in abstraction session, the first five are charcoal and the last one is watercolour
I’ve reverted back a bit to more representational drawing, this one has a lot of blind contour drawing in it but I looked at the paper occasionally to place my pencil:
And a 3 minute pose with ink and charcoal, I started with blind contour for the first minute or so and then made corrections. The ink was added on afterwards
Finally, I am over the moon that #whomademyclothes has been selected to show at the Mall Galleries for the Columbia Threadneedle Prize at the end of January 2018

This is a large patchwork blanket with 1,138 used clothes labels sewn on to represent the number of people who died in the Rana Plaza complex in Bangladesh 2013.
96 artists were selected from over 4000 entries, it’s an important exhibition and I am so pleased that many people will get to see it.
